Greetings from North Jersey and from the Seventeenth District- your host for the 96th Annual Mid-Year assembly. An action packed day of activities is planned for your participation and enjoyment.

Sunday May 4th, will feature a special buffet breakfast and lunch at a very reasonable price. 8am kicks off a jam-packed morning. Choices include:

  • Your favorite exhibitors with the latest items on display.
  • State committees working on pressing issues.
  • Two interesting sessions during Breakfast and Lunch (CEU’s pending)

The general meeting session will be called to order at 10am and will recess for lunch. The session will reconvene after lunch. The exhibit areas will remain open throughout the day.

The Seventeenth District has selected the top-rated Doubletree by Hilton site of the 2025 Convention as the site of Mid-year 2025. The Doubletree has first class meeting facilities, excellent food service, large clean rooms, an indoor pool and exercise facilities. Our District intends for this to be an enjoyable, rewarding event for all.

IMPORTANT: The pre-registration deadline is April 25. Online registrations must be completed by this date, and mail-in registrations must be postmarked by April 25.

Event Overview

The Mid-Year Assembly brings together EMS professionals from across New Jersey for a day of learning, networking, and collaboration. The day features committee meetings, general sessions, special presentations, vendor exhibitions, and opportunities to earn CEUs.

Learning Sessions

Session 1 – Life-saving tech for a broken heart: LVAD & eCPR (1 CEU pending)

This course includes education on heart failure and the need for mechanical circulatory support, special considerations for assessing a patient with an LVAD, and emerging treatments with eCPR utilizing ECMO for cardiac arrest.


Session 2 – Medication Assisted Treatment & Opioid Crisis Response in the Prehospital Setting (1 CEU pending)

This course includes essential updates regarding opioid overdose response, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) protocols, and awareness of emerging threats like Xylazine
