Our History
For decades, the 17th District has been an integral part of New Jersey’s emergency response system. Our member squads have a rich history of service, with some organizations dating back many generations. Together, we form part of New Jersey’s oldest and largest EMS volunteer association, continuing a tradition of neighbor helping neighbor during medical emergencies.
Leadership & Governance
The 17th District is led by a dedicated board of officers elected from our member organizations. These leaders coordinate district activities, represent our interests at the state level, and ensure that volunteer EMS remains strong throughout our region.
